How exactly does laser hair removal work to permanently remove my hair?

It’s simple. The light from the laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle. The hair has to be in the active stage when treated in order for it to be destroyed. On average only 10-12% of the hair is in the active stage. This cycle occurs every 4-6 weeks.  That’s why progressive treatments approx one month intervals are need for about 6-8 treatments.
