About Carnegie Hill

Carnegie Hill is a neighborhood within the Upper East Side, in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Its boundaries, which form an irregularly shaped rectangle, are presently 86th Street on the south, Third Avenue on the east, 96th Street (Spanish Harlem) on the north, and Fifth Avenue (Central Park) on the west. The northern boundary has edged north in recent years. The neighborhood is part of Manhattan Community Board 8. Carnegie Hill is widely considered one of the most prestigious residential areas of the Upper East Side.
