Hair Removal Methods - Transdermal Electrolysis

Transdermal Electrolysis is promoted as an electrified cotton swab that removes hair permanently—there is very little scientific proof to prove this. However, some people consider it a medical breakthrough and it does have a low incidence of side effects. A conductive gel is spread on the skin and then electricity comes through a cotton swab when it’s touched to the gel. The electricity travels down the hair follicle and permanently damages the root. This is method is very similar to the transcutaneous method. It averages $45 to $60 for an hour session. It can be used on virtually all areas of the body except hairs growing inside the ear and nasal canals. It’s excellent for the pubic area, breasts, legs, feet, shoulders, chest, back, hairline, eyebrows and face.
