With the standard impression of how non-famous people are supposed to look rising, the standards celebrities are held to are phenomenal. Still, many people in the public’s eye still maintain a fairly flawless appearance. Most celebrities won’t claim to having undergone any type of cosmetic procedure, but how many aren’t coming forward?
These procedures can range from minimally invasive to major surgery. Even the treatments that pale in comparison to anything requiring an anesthetic are still kept away from being public knowledge. One procedure some stars are coming out of the cosmetic closet for is laser hair removal, and why shouldn’t they? Surely, there are more!
One star who went completely public with this unwanted body hair removal treatment is Christopher Knight. You might know him as Peter from the Brady Bunch. If you’re imagining him as a kid from the show, you can probably still justify him seeking such a treatment.
Knight visited the office of Anthony Youn, M.D., or Dr. 90210. He opted for a different type of television show and had hair removal performed on his neck, inside his ears and nose, and between his eyes. Nothing like going for the gold, Peter Brady. Kudos to him for getting rid of his unwanted body hair, and not being ashamed to hide it!
Another famous personality who has publicized laser hair removal is Kim Kardashian. Hers was part of a whole body shape up process—what a great reason! She exercised, got in shape, and then tweaked the fine details, smooth skin. She was ready for her close up calendar shots thanks to the hair removal treatments.
The third celeb making the smooth skin switch is Alyssa Milano. Her most common claim to fame is Tony Micelli’s daughter, Sam, on TV show Who’s the Boss? Perfect for an Italian role, Alyssa has the real life genetics to play the part. She is plagued with excessive dark hair, a common trait due to genetics, and it was quite visible all over her arms especially. Being in such an obvious place, she faced public ridicule for having arms that were “too hairy.”
Though the nudge she received from the public might have given her extra reason, she probably would have come to the conclusion of laser hair removal on her own. Permanently removing hair is a personal decision, despite however public people took it upon themselves to make. Laser hair treatments can target any area of unwanted body hair, and provide permanent results within 6 to 8 treatments.
